Summary of the Foundation's Achievements

In 2025, the Advantech Foundation spent a total of NT$51,580,000 on IoT talent cultivation, NT$14,958,767 on the promotion of arts and culture, NT$11,705,796 on sustainability education, and NT$16,820,482 on public welfare.

The Advantech Foundation has made a long-term commitment to the cultivation of IoT talent, and continues to implement industry-academia collaboration mechanisms through the connections between locations of operations worldwide with local partners. This bridges the gap between education and employment and cultivates professional talents that meet industry needs. In 2024, Advantech China won 2 major awards in the “CSR China Education Award,” including the “Best Responsible Enterprise Brand” and “CSR Impact | Responsible Innovation Award.” The awards recognize Advantech's long-term contributions in China by encouraging students to innovate and by engaging in industry-academia collaboration, showing how we have effectively bridged the gap between industry and academia through our practical experience.

Elite Internship Program
Provided nearly NT$4.08 million in funding.
  • Strategically focused on 3 core aspects: Young talent elite cultivation, AI technology applications, and innovative businesses and early design. A total of 26 outstanding students participated.
  • A total of 8 students extended their internships (the retention rate reached 30.7%), in which one intern was accepted into an R&D position for alternative military service and will report for duty in 2026.

  • Implemented a total of 11 industry-academia collaboration projects, including thermal, circuit diagram AI Agent, and high-frequency voltage conversion.
  • Developed new environmental and agricultural businesses and established 2 demonstration sites.

  • Supported Epoch School in offering entrepreneurship training for college students. The program recruited 87 college students, organized 20 workshops and training events, and provided 100+ one-on-one consultations.
  • The Pan Wen Yuan Foundation recruited a total of 13 startup/student teams working on IoT applications.
Promoting innovative and sustainability education ACT Dreamers
Provided over NT$8 million in funding.
  • Sponsored ACT Dreamers projects in 39 elementary and junior high schools, which led to 60 on-campus presentations.
  • Organized 3 cross-school sharing events with over 500 teachers, students, and parents participating.
  • Organized a large-scale education annual meeting, invited a total of 43 elementary and junior high schools across Taiwan that set up 37 booths, and over 500 people participated.
This program will expand the scale of participation in ACT Dreamers. We expect 70 schools to transform PBL into concrete sustainability actions, and exert influence through cross-school sharing events. We will also launch the three-year “ACT Practitioner” project, enhance the sustainability Teacher Training Program for PBL projects, and organize PBL Youth Workshops during summer vacation. The funding provided for this project is expected to exceed NT$12 million.
